Adjust Screen Brightness Satellite Pro 4200

Hello,
i heard from a combination of keys which makes adjusting the screen brightness possible.
Is that true and what is the key-combination?

Hi Daniel,
The normal keys for thie are Fn+F7 to increase the brightness and Fn+F6 to reduce it. However different notebook models may use different key combinations so I would check your user handbook to see which ones are correct for your notebook.

Hello
Nicky is absolutely right but as far as I know all Toshiba notebooks have the same keyboard and all have the same key combination for brightness changing. Your Satellite Pro is pretty old and at this time maybe it was a little different.

Hi some 4200 series laptops (4270 I think) have a small adjusting wheel built into the edge of the RHS of the screen. They (4200 series laptops) don't all have brightness control via software.

My brother said that he has a brightness control via software on the same notebook as I. Can I simply install that software manually on my notebook? Where can I find that software?
