How to convert .mkv files?

I have a Toshiba 40BV700B TV. I also have a USB stick with .mkv video files saved on it

apparently they don't like each other - any suggestions how i can watch my files on my TV..?

Any help apprecited - thanks

Hi

This is a notebook and notebook options forum… not quite sure if someone would be able to help you here….
However, as far as I know the TV supports just an FAT32 file format so your USB should be formatted in FAT32.

You could also try to convert the mkv files to other format like avi.
There are many freeware tools like SUPER 2012 which convert such files.

Googling around you can find so many video converters that you can use to convert different video formats.
To pick up some info check please this page.

In the past I’ve used OJOsoft Total Video Converter .
