I have recently purchased a Qosmio F750-11N and everything was working fine.
I can access any wireless internet and all is fine except I cannot use any 3g usb modem.
I don't have dsl at my second home so I use 3g TMN internet with an exterior usb pen style modem.
All my other toshiba's run the intertnet very well with no problem.
I insert the pen and the usual installer comes up, installs the isp's program and all goes fine. When I go to connect, it says usb modem unavailable. I have updated drivers and everything. I have windows 7 64 bits.
If I try to go to my network and try to enable the usb modem it says something about Remote Access not working. If I click properties it says unexpected error.
The usb modem is listed working under the manager.
What can I do? Ask details if needed.
Please don’t understand me wrong but you probably know that Toshiba doesn’t support third part hardware or software. All what Toshiba in your case supports is USB port functionality and in your posting is clearly described that USB port works.
When possible try to contact your internet provider and ask for some assistance. They have best experience with own hardware and software, especially with software configuration.
My apologies then I didn't know where else to ask for help and since it seemed to me to be related to Toshiba's ConfigFree I figured I could post here.
Thanks for the reply nonetheless.
