Dynadock U3.0 video playback does not support full screen

Hi,

I bought a Dynadock U3.0 and use it with a Zenbook UX32V and an external iiyama display with a resolution of 1920x1920

Everything works fine but full-screen video playback - no matter I use the flash player, VLC oder WMP. Video playback works well in window mode but when I switch to full screen, just a black screen and the mouse cursor appears.

Interestingly, when I press the right mouse button to open the context menu while video playbyck, the video is shown for the time the context menu has the focus.

I updated to the newest display drivers but it didn't help.
Does anyone know a solution for this?

Thanks,

Martin

In addition to this video playback problem, I also noticed massive performance and display problems with some web sites (like Couchsurfing) in different web browsers (like Chrome).

I wonder if this it's just my system or whether there is a general issue with the maturity of the video solution provided by the DynaDock.

I installed the newest (non-beta) driver and it helps with some issues. Full-screen video works in about 50% of all situations, but now it is merely unpredictable, whether it's gonna work or not.

Quite often, the driver now also just crashes (before it crashes totally, graphics errors appear on the external screen, as parts of the screen are displayed largley zoomed in an interlaced form).

This USB 3.0 display solution does not feel really stable and mature. Or is it just a problem in combination with my Acer system? But then I wonder what it's good for because for a bunch of USB ports a much cheaper USB hub would do the same job.
