How to reinstall BT stack BT filter and VAP for Satellite P
Posted: 20-Jul-2012 04:54

Having bluetooth problems. I found possible answer from 'paolo30' suggested uninstalling BT filter, BT stack and VAP then reinstalling them.

No problems uninstalling, not sure where to find them to reinstall, and what point to press FN+F8
Not tech savvy at all

Can you help ,
regards,goneriding.

Hi

The installation of Atheros Bluetooth filter is required only if the notebook has been equipped with an Atheros WLan combo card.

What notebook do you have exactly and what WLan card does the notebook support?

I cannot understand why do you not post exact notebook model so we can check notebook specification to see which drivers, tools and utilities are offered for certain notebook model.

Have you noticed some problems using original preinstalled OS that you got with your notebook?

Your notebook belongs to Toshiba Australian series.
The drivers can be downloaded here:

Ac mentioned above, pay attention to your WLan card… only Atheros Wlan card needs an BT filter…
