Guys, would anyone know a store that sells fans compatible with this model?
Google seems to fail me and I don't really have the time to send the laptop in for 'repair' that will take a month and cost more than a new laptop..

Preferably some store that ships to Sweden.

Maybe stupid question now but what you want to do now? Do you want to exchange it alone?

It will be nice if someone here will take a time to search it for you. My tip is – eBay. There you can find a lot hardware parts for different Toshiba notebooks. Maybe you will be lucky and find it there.

Hi

I found an CPU cooling modules 45W part number K000061870 which should be compatible with Qosmio X300
But you can also order such part from an Toshiba ASP (authorized service provider) in your country without sending the notebook.

But I think such replacement is very difficult since the whole unit needs to be disassembled.

The disassembly isn't all that bad! Just about to add a second fan as the first one notoriously cannot cope with the heat from the CPU and push the exhaust past the GPU
