Satellite C660 back from repair - no WLan now

I recently got my laptop back after getting a faulty screen repaired.
When I turned it on it did not recognise my wifi, I tried going into control panel (Network and Sharing Center) to connect to it but nothing showed up.

I also tried pressing Fn/F8 but that didn't work either.
Every other device in the house is connected perfectly fine to the wifi so it isn't a problem with the router.

I'm wondering is there a simple solution to my problen or do I need to send it off to be repaired again?

Hi

Can you see the WLan in device manager under the point Network Adapters?

If not, I assume the technician did something wrong during the disassembling procedure and therefore the WLan module is not recognized…

In such case I recommend asking the guys for the check again…

As Paolo already wrote, check if WLAN adapter is recognized and listed properly in device manager.
Is maybe some unknown device listed there?

I also think you should contact service and ask them to check this issue. If WLAN card doesn’t work properly it is not your fault.
