Where to find maintenance manual to disassemble the Equium A210-171

Hi guys.
I'm having a bit of a dilema with my Equium A210-171 laptop.
The CPU fan is playing up and I need to replace it.
The problem is though, I am having trouble stripping this thing down.
I've already broken some of the small plastic studs on the strip above the keyboard and I now can't quite see how to remove the touchpad and lid.
I've been using the FRU guide for the satellite A210 which claims to cover the Equium a210 series also but many of the screws indicated in the guide are not on this latop.
Also the position of certain components differ.
I'm not unfamiliar with working with computers and their components but when it comes to laptops I feel very uncomfortable when something won't budge and I can't see why.
If someone could point me to the proper FRU guide for my model or ome other suitable reference material I would be very grateful.

Hi
Unfortunately, the maintenance manuals are not downloadable…did not find any Toshiba pages which would provide such manuals… just user manuals which are also preinstalled on the notebooks can be downloaded.
But as far as I know Satellite A210 is the same like Equium A210… so both series are not very different.

Thanks for a very quick reply.
Having thoroughly checked my laptop against the FRU I have, there are some big differences.
The FRU shows 3 screws to be removed in the battery compartment for example.
My laptop does not have these screws. The FRU shows 4 internal screws to release the Touchpad and lid.
My laptop has only 1 screw.
The reason I see this as significant is because I can't get the Touchpad and lid completely removed.
I've got it loose as far as the controls and speaker panel but it refuses to budge any further and in spite of very close examination, I can't see what's holding it in place.
I have already broken some of the the very flimsy studs that hold the strip above the keyboard because the instructions indicated that levering it free with a flat screwdriver or similar is sufficient.
It wasn't. I don't want to do any more damage.

Hi MisterX.
Thanks again for a speedy reply.
The page isn't quite what I need right now but it's a great resource for future reference. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
I've finally managed to release the Touchpad and Lid. Contrary to the sequence of removal recommended in the FRU which shows the following order of removal. Battery and underside modules. (RAM, HDD etc.) Strip cover. Keyboard. Base screws. Internal and cables. Touchpad and lid. Display.
I had to first unclip the seperate Controls Panel and Speakers cover. Then remove the screen. Then I could finally get the Touchpad and lid removed.
Once again thank you for offering such quick assistance. I know where to come in future if I'm stuck.
