Satellite P500 PSPGSE - Power Start Button Problem

Hello! Greeting's, I have a problem with my Laptop!

Power-Start button on my TOSHIBA p500 (pspgse drivers) wont work, but when I use remote control it work,.
One month AGO laptop is been in TOSHIBA SERVICE in Serbia and they say its a problem in bios and they flash bios.
But one mount later same problem.

Its not Bios do Y now what is wrong?

It could be hardware problem… In my opinion you should contact the ASP and should talk to the guys that this issue is not solved.

On this virtual way it is not possible to offer some exact diagnostic but I also believe it must be hardware issue.
BIOS issue? I really don’t know how the power button functionality has be related to BIOS.

Can you switch ON your notebook using power button?
Is there any reaction when you press power button while Windows is running (change power button configuration in Windows settings)?

Dr: Lamp, button have not response While windows is running and when press button to start Laptop when laptop is turn off, i try to change Long time ago in button configuration in Windows settings, but still not work.

Thanks for idea, but already try that ! ! !

Its probably a hardware but do you now what hardware?

I don’t know how it looks like on P500 but under the power button there is small buttons board. I cannot say for sure but maybe this small board must be replaced.

I contacted the center for support and gave them serial number of your computer.

They found that the laptop have chanced many hardware components all sorts of hardware, and when I say that I was not informed about it or have someone sent me a newspaper in which they say that they did not find any problem with the hardware it is just become serious, And Toshiba will Contact Them and will maybe have seriously sanctions from Toshiba, and this way of working directly they work against Toshiba.

Bitter for me to do with these people anymore, as far as people of _Toshiba and TOSHIBA Support Respect and Respect_!!!
