Hello,

I purchased a Satellite L850-11Q earlier this month.

Having a Windows 7 Prof. 64-bit service pack 1 - license (and Win7 Home comes pre-installed), I formated everything (including the recovery partition, because I tend to make my own backups).

Of course I downloaded all available 64-bit drivers beforehand, but after installing everything I found that one driver is still missing!

I searched on the "sister"- notebook L855 page for compatible drivers, but could not find any (reason: not all drivers can be found on the L850-site, for example the Bluetooth stack driver - I had three unknown devices after installing all L850-drivers, two of these could be found on the L855-site).

My problem is, that there is still one unknown device in the windows device-manager.
Aida64 (a system monitoring/information,etc.-program) identified the divice to be the

"PCI Intel Panther Point PCH - Host Embedded Controller Interface 1 (HECI1) C-1".

Windows update - via right click and selecting auto driver search does not find anything, either.

Furthermore, Intel does not offer any drivers as of yet for this chipset ( I believe it might be the "7 series chipset", and that is not listed, yet).

Any help in getting getting my hand on the driver/necessary .inf-files is appreciated.
