my computer hard drive recently failed and i lost some of my drivers. So for example i lost the driver for the mouse pointer (which was easily downloadable and fixed).
But I've also think that I've lost the display driver, so currently its running a "generic Non-PnP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" (as in my laptop seems to be running my screen as a completely separate component from itself) from others which has a resolution of 1024 x 768, on a computer screen made for 1366 x 768 (and it is non-3D) so as you can imagine its not great having a stretched screen.
Also my keyboard does not light up anymore, is this wired on the same driver or do i need another one? (this system was just patched together by IT guys)
So... i was wondering, can i download and install the Toshiba display driver and get it to run?
If i download and install the Toshiba display driver will it fix these problems? and if it wont/doesn't what is the next course of action?
If you could answer these questions it would be much appreciated by me, and if you need any more information, don't hesitate to ask for it on this thread.
