Memory upgrade for Qosmio G30-201 from 2gb to 4gb
Posted: 09-Jun-2012 17:39

I want to buy 4GB of memory to upgrade from 2GB.

What makes are compatible & reliaible. Any advice on Corsair, Kingston, Crucial, Transcend?

Several of these mfrs sell 'Value' ram under their own name - are these OK?

I have a Qosmio G30-201, with the following spec:

Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology featuring Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7400- Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition- 400 (200 + 200) GB Hard Disk Drive- 2,048 (1,024+1,024) MB DDR2 RAM (533 MHz)- 17" Toshiba TruBrite® WUXGA TFT display- HD DVD-ROM drive

Running under Vista Ultimate

Best regards

Macius

Best thing you can do is to use Kingston memory modules. Kingston offers high quality product and using Kingston RAM you will not have compatibility issues.

Right 2GB modules for your Qosmio you can find HERE .
