Satellite C660-28V - loosing internet connection

I own two Satellites C660-28V.

Problem is that I lose internet connection on a frequent base. I have to reset modem to get internet connection back again. This problem I have with both these Toshiba laptops.

I also own an other laptop (Dell) and a LAN connected PC : no problems with these.

Have you noticed this problem with modem connection only?
Does LAN and WLAN connections work properly?

Hi

If the internet connection works again after resetting the modem, I assume the IP address cannot be assigned properly.
In your case I would recommend uninstalling the TCP/IPv6 from WLan and LAN and would recommend using only TCP/IPv4.

Thanks for your advising.

I downloaded latest Wire LAN netwerk driver. Last two days no problems anymore. I hope this solved the problem.
