Camileo H30 - Audio & Video don't run synchronously with Win XP
Posted: 20-May-2012 21:18

My computer runs Windows XP.

I downloaded DivX 7 as a player for HD movies.

But when I download those videos to my computer and try to play them with the DivX 7, the audio is out of synch. But videos shot in SD play fine.

Any ideas why this could be happening and how to resolve it?

I also have the ArcSoft sofware installed as well.

Hi

I read a lot about such symptoms and it seems your hardware isn't keeping up with the playback.
The reason is that the audio plays back fine, because its easy for the computers hardware to do that but if it comes to video, the system is overloaded. The big percentage part of the frames are 'dropped': this means that they are not displayed. Those frames that are displayed correctly are usually late and this causes the audio/video sync problems. So you have an video dropped/delayed problem, due to computers hardware limitation.

Are there any solutions for this besides getting a computer that could support it?

Could I convert the HD video to another format? If so, do you know of any freeware that does this?

Could I compress the HD video to make it smaller? Again would you know of any freeware that does this?

Thanks!

Hi

A tool called “SUPER 2012” supports mostly all video and audio file formats.
Its freeware and I think it could be helpful for you.

You can also try tools like:
WinX Free VOB to MP4 Converter -> converts vob files into mp4
