A few months ago, I had my harddrive changed, as the old one got scratched so wouldnt boot up.
Everything works fine, apart from the multimedia buttons (play, pause etc) to the left of the keyboard.
I assume this is because a driver is now missing. I have tried searching for it but cant find it anywhere.
Here you can find drivers for your laptop.
Choose Archive - Equium - Equium A Series - select one of the three A100 depending on the number that is printed on the back of your laptop (PSAA4, PSAAB or PSAAQ) - choose operating system and search.
I have tried that, and it gives me a choice of about 50 drivers. I dont know which one of those drivers is responsible for the multimedia buttons. None of them say that they control them.
First of all you have to install the Common Modules and then the Toshiba Controls utility.
Both tools can be downloaded from Toshiba European driver page.
Search in Archive (Product type)
On the Toshiba European driver page you can find the installation instruction.txt file
It contains the driver installation order which you should use to get the drivers and tools installed.
