On my laptop the wireless LED is orange and won’t work...
When i have the notebook connected to Ethernet cable, it works great but the minute I remove it, it goes off .
Anyone know my problem ?
I assume LAN connection works properly and you can access the internet using LAN.
But WLan connection does not work even if the WLan indicator is ON. Is it right?
I’m wondering if you enabled WLan using the keys FN + F8.
Did you try that?
Did you configure the Wlan properly? I mean you should ensure that you have chosen the right encryption (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc…) and the right encryption password!
You can also disable all the security settings on your router and could connect the notebook to open WLan… but this should be done only for testing puposes.
