Portege T110 - mic does not work after Win 7 intsallation

I have the same problem. The inbuilt mic was working perfectly for more than 2 years, and then I reinstalled WIn7 and since then, the mic is not picking up any sound, and nothing also when I plug in an external mic. Very annoying, since it was previoulsy perfect. I have the default Windows HD audio driver - is there a Toshiba driver than I shlould be using

The Portege T110 is not known to me… but it looks like this series has been released in Asia.
So checked the Toshiba Asia page and found this:
http://pc.toshiba-asia.com/sg/support/drivers

There you can find the Portege T110 and the Win 7 drivers.
The notebook seems to support the Conexant sound driver… so download this and install it on the system.
