Missed opportunity to make recovery

When I deployed my new notebook yesterday, and started windows7 for the first time, unfortunately the system did not accept my password (that I just created and confirmed, and even created a security question.

I am not of the youngest anymore but I'm not aged as well. I guess there must have been something wrong with my keyboard. I remember when filling out the registration form, that the output was not what I was typing in. The letters of my name got mixed up. Very strange, but finally I managed to get the data correct.

Since there was no recovery disk in the box, I'm afraid I'm stuck now before I even got first access to my new notebook.

Can you help?

If you have created Windows login password and you cannot use it to login in preinstalled Windows it can be problematic now.

Start please your notebook with F8 > Repair my computer and try to start HDD recovery installation following this Toshiba document - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R01.htm

Can you pass steps 2 and 3?

Hi,

unfortunately in this recovery procedure, I'm stuck at the moment system demands for userpassword. Somebody suggested that keyboard was in querty mode when i was creating my userpassword. However I tried all possibilities, in querty (even tried to type in my password in ascii-code). i can go on guessing for long.

Question is, what as wrong with my keyboard when I typed in my password?
I used also numeric keys in my password.

Sorry mate… but who should know what password or what keyboard settings you used?
