Hello

The cable on my 1tb HDD Canvio Basics 3.0 external is falling a part. The coper pick ups on the hard drive connection end are all falling out. No machine now detects my hard drive. It is still in warranty as I only bought it 3 months ago. However, is there a way I can repair it or return it to be assessed and/or replaced?

Cheers

Hi

In my opinion if the warranty is valid, don’t try to repair anything.
Visit your dealer and ask for replacement or fix.
