Cannot find bluetooth on my Satellite C670D

I very recently bought a Satellite C670d which I’m very pleased with. The problem is despite all the technical spec and a large sticker on the lap top saying it has Bluetooth 3.0 I don’t seem to be able to find any Bluetooth on the computer.

Can anyone help?

I don’t know how do you searching for BT but usage of BT is so simply and it must also be described in user’s manuals document.
Have you checked it already?

Anyway, can you activate/enable BT using FN+F8 key combination?

What Satellite C670D-xxx notebook model do you have exactly?
From my knowledge many notebooks are equipped with an Atheros WLan combo card.
Such card supports WLan and BT as well.

But as mentioned by xaver: BT and WLan can be enabled and disabled using FN + F8
Of course only if supported.

To be honest I’m a bit confused. All I found is this specification and I cannot find info about BT inside so I’m thinking your notebook doesn’t have BT at all.

Can you send the link with “your” specification?

Hi

I can confirm: the satellite C670D-11k does not support BT!
It has been equipped with an Realtek WLan card which does not support BT and there is also no internal BT module.

Well that does seem to solve it. I'll have to have a word with Toshiba as to why there was a spec sticker on the pc outlining bt3.0 as one of its features. Once again thanks to all.

Ok your notebook model doesnt have BT but if zou need it you can buy small micro USB stick.
