Tecra R850-1J5 - Can not open Catalyst Control Center

The display driver I have installed is the preinstalled one. It is the last version I see in Tosiba download web (8.801.2.3000). If I use Windows Update the reponse is that there are not newer version.
When I try to open Catalyst Control Center to adjust parameters, I see in the process explorer (sysinternals) a ccc.exe program running, but nothing happens, that is, I don't see any wndows.
If I execute the driver installation program, it fails at the beginin and nothing is installed
Oprating system is W7 profesional (preinstalled). UAC is deactivated

Hi :

I have solved the situation downloading the catalyst software from AMD web pages
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/12-3_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc.exe
