I cannot understand our language but can you please tell us which empty media do you use: CDs or DVDs?
If possible try please with DVD-R media and try please to obtain Verbatim or TDK.
I have created recovery discs on several Toshiba notebooks using always DVD-R Verbatim and every time it was OK.
Sorry but maybe google chrome changed my language. and I use translate google.
The first DVDs has recorded properly without any problem and the second recording is already that error.
I record on this DVD's
I bought verbatim today, but If you record on verbatim dvd-r probably I will have that same...
What next ? ethereal_1
You have that problem only when you record second dvd ?
If you record Toshiba Recovery Media Creator on pendrive please write here and write or has recorded well or is still the same error
If someone doesn't write here how to solve this problem is I'll have to write to the uokik (Office of Competition and Consumer) that toshiba has no contact for a professional support or give the complaint my laptop.
really I dont think the problem was the disk...if so, why disk 1 has been completed properly while disk 2 has failed two times?
But I have not time to investigate further and I have solved the problem in the quickest, but not the cheapest, way.
Well, I agree with you… its really strange that the 2nd disk has failed two times but fact is that the recovery procedure could be finished using an USB flash memory.
Maybe your ODD needs an firmware update like mentioned in the docs posted by Paolo.
Maybe you would need to use other disks from other manufactures…
However, important is that you could solve this… that is the best news.
