Satellite C660-26R - problems with notebook performance

Hi

I bought a C660-26R for Christmas and since I have had some real problems watching videos on youtube and downloading things such as itunes or soundcloud. I have a good connection speed but I can't watch a video longer than a few seconds and letting the kids play games on miniclip for example wont work at all.

I have downloaded the recent version of adobe flash player, windows updates are up to date and my internet security is fine. But i dont know why I have encountered so many problems. It takes ages to pay for things on line as well.

If anyone can give me any hints or solutions it would of real help and the simpler the better.

On this virtual way it is not possible to say what is wrong there and give some concrete advice what you can do about it.
I would like to have your notebook in front of me, to see what happen exactly and how your notebook reacts with different commands. In my opinion it is only way to understand all your problems.

Please don’t understand me wrong but I strongly recommend you to find someone who has very good PC knowhow and ask for help.

Thanks I think the problem is probably something simple but I don't have a great knowledge of PC related issues. The main problem is that I can't watch videos on youtube more than a few seconds without freezing and I don't know if its a Network update I need.

The video streaming from internet platforms like youtube needs to be buffered (cached) before the steam would start.
So possibly your internet connection is slow or the server are overloaded.

By the way: what internet connection do you use: WLan or LAN?
Please check if the slow data transfer happens with both connections.
