I'll start by apologising for being a total noob, sorry about that :/
Okay so I was playing Minecraft fine until a couple of weeks ago;
but now I get a java error message every time I try and run it.
I re-installed the game, re-installed Java, and then someone told me that I need to update my graphics drivers.
I tried updating the intel chipset but I have had no end of problems, the drivers and stuff that my computer is supposed to run won't install and I'm still having the same problems with the game, whatever I try.
Can anyone point me to the drivers or whatever it is i'm supposed to have?
In last few months several people have reported about issues with Minecraft.
Use please advanced search option and check if you can find these threads. Maybe you will find some interesting info or tip that can help you.
Yes it seems that the Java Minercraft problem is related to the driver.
Your Intel Mobile GL960 graphic chip needs to be updated…
The latest driver can be downloaded from Intel page.
Then unzip the whole package. To update the driver go to device manager and choose your graphic chip… then you will need update the driver using the advanced procedure… this means that you have to point to the Intel driver folder which you have downloaded and unzipped… the folder contains sole dll and other files… these files will be picked by system and the driver would be updated…
