Satellite R630-145 - high-frequency beep

Hi!

I am from Russia. Excuse me for my English. I have a problem. My laptop beeps. High-frequency beep (strange noise) erupts from aperture for charges. When laptop charges beep becomes more loudly.

How it can be fixed? Is it a serious problem?

Help me please.

When your notebook starts to beep and what happen exactly?

It is difficult for me to explain in English but I will be trying to explain. When I charges my laptop or when laptop connect to charging it is beeping issue.

Do you use original Toshiba charger with your notebook?

Since when you have noticed this issue?

I use original Toshiba charger with my notebook. I noticed this issue near one month ago.

Hi

Does this beeping noise comes from AC adaptor or from notebook?
In my knowledge this us uncommon behavior and in my opinion firstly the AC adaptor should be checked and then the notebook.

It could be possible that your AC adaptor is broken and in such case this parts should be tested before checking the other notebook parts.

This beeping noise comes from notebook. If to work without energy batary beeping noise doesn't come. Beeping noise comes when notebook is charging.

Hi

I would recommend contacting the Toshiba ASP in your country.
The notebook should not beep: neither using AC adaptor or only battery…
So contact the guys and lets check the hardware….

I have the same problem with my 1 year old Satellite R630-14J. The notebook (NOT THE CHARGER) is beeping in a disturbing high frequency if the battery is beeing charged. What do you mean, can the Toshiba Support fix this? Or is this problem not covered by Toshiba warranty?

What do you mean, can the Toshiba Support fix this? Or is this problem not covered by Toshiba warranty?

This can be answered only by Toshiba authorized service partner… you can call them and ask if the hardware is faulty… if the hardware part is affected then the service technician could fix it… if warranty is valid, the notebook should be fixed free of charge.
