Hi guys,

I'm in Australia, just bought an AT100 (model PDA01A-005001) and am trying to get my head wrapped around the way it works.

This sounds like a noob question, but despite the manual telling me to back up the (AT100) tablet data to an external device multiple times... it doesn't say how? I've trawled the forum and no one has asked such a noob question which has me thinking that I'm missing something.

I'm new to Android - till now I've had Windows and apple based products.
I've turned on the option to backup to google, but that just seems to be for account data, not apps and app data... please correct me if I'm wrong.

Sooo, just to give a bit more background, I specifically hunted around to the PDA01A-005001 model because Toshiba states that it comes already updated to Android 3.1 - Imagine my surprise when I see that the system is actually 3.0.1?! So I shot an email to Toshiba customer support and was told to update via service station.

Okay then... so I look in SS and see that Android 3.2.1 is the available update, but before I start, SS gives a big warning about backing up my data... okey dokey, I'll just read the manual on how to do that... oh wait...
