Can my Portege be refurbished by Toshiba?

Hello,

Does Toshiba offer this service? For my Toshiba Portege, 2008, I would like to refurbish it because the screen and the CD player are damaged.

So as I've wanted to do the refurbishing returning it to Toshiba.
By the opportunity to verify that all parts, components work.
It is no longer under warranty so I know it will cost me something.
Where do I go to get a quote in the first place?

Thank you in advance for your answers. Because the site is only talking about warranty but no such request. Unless I missed some.

I don’t know exactly what Portege you have but if the screen is damaged then you will need to spend a lot of money to get this fixed… not sure if it’s really worth to do that for old notebook.

However, if you want to fix this, you have to contact an Toshiba authorized service provider in your country. The guy should be able to do this for you.
