How to turn off the sound of the multimedia touchpad on Qosmio X500?

Hi

it's been now 1 year that I am trying to turn off the sound of the multimedia touchpad on the left of the keyboard of my Qosmio X500-11D.

can anyone help me pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaasssssseeeeeee

Have you tried configuring them from Toshiba Assist > Optimize > Toshiba Hardware Settings > Button Settings. You can enable or disable the beep sound from there

Stevic is right. All important settings you can find in HWSetup tool. There you can enable/ disable beeping sound or illumination.

Restart your laptop, press F2 to get the BIOS.
Choose advanced
then Function Buttons
and then choose Disabled.

Hope this will solve your problem

By the way that will turn all of the touch pad off, not just the sound.
