Need product recovery cd for Satelite L40-13G.

How and where can I get 1 ,current 1 says boot mgr missing or corrupt and file system 32 unable to load, plz help

Hi

Don’t think you will be able to order the recovery disk for this old Satellite L40 series
Of course you can check the recommended link above but I think you will need to install the Windows OS using an Microsoft disk

The needed drivers can be downloaded from Toshiba European driver page.

Note: in Product Type of download form you will need to choose Archive (and not Notebook) because the L40 is older series and drivers have been moved to Archive area.

I agree with user above. You can install own OS version. All necessary drivers, tools and utilities you can find on Toshiba download page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

Your notebook has short model number PSL40E so you will find it there. I’ve already checked it.
Your notebook is also supported for Win7 so I strongly recommend you to install Win7 32bit on your L40. I’m pretty sure Win7 will run good and stabile.

If you need some assistance with OS installation or configuration you are welcome.
