Satellite L750-176 - Bluetooth installation fails

Hi,
I tried to activate bluetooth via FN+F8 on Windows 7. After enabling it the system tries to install the bluetooth driver via bluetooth stack. During the installation i receive an error message "Could not turn Bluetooth power on. Please turn on the Wireless Communication Switch located on the one side of the main unit."
On the toshiba notebook there is no switch!
After that I have to abort the installation. I took already a look in the forum but didn´t find a solution.
I restored already the initial toshiba image of Windows 7 and reinstalled the bluetooth filter package and the bluetooth stack but this didn´t fix the problem.
Any ideas how to fix this problem?
Thanks Mario

Hi
The notebook seems to be equipped with an Atheros Wlan combo card. This combo card supports also the BT connectivity.
But before you would install the BT stack you have to install first the Bluetooth Filter Driver Package which can be downloaded from Toshiba European driver page.
This very important.
By the way: you are right. There is no switch to enable the WLan. You have to use the FN + F8 to switch on / off the WLan or BT.

Correct
Hi
Uninstall the VAP (value added package) and reboot the notebook.
Do that with BT stack and BT filter too.
Clean the system registry using CCLeaner.
Reboot several times.
Now install VAP again…followed by BT filter and BT stack…
Reboot and then use FN + F8 to enable BT
