Blue screen on Tecra R850-147

Hello

Some time i got BS, i quess from ATI Graphic Card.

you are preety cool. Send some screen shot and want to have answer for your problem but without any relevant info in your posting.

For instance it will be interesting to know which operating system do you use.
Do you use original OS that you got with your notebook?

When the BSOD is shown? At the stat-up or later when OS is loaded?
Have you tried to do anything about that?

A few more sentences about this issue can be very useful.

Hello.

OS - Windows 7 Pro SP 1 - Orginal with the notebook.

BS is shown when for example im watching the youtube on chrome browser.

Notebook starting is ok, closing the system the same, is ok.

Sometimes i got red warning, "The ATI driver has a malfunction"
and later graces the screen refreshes me

"Have you tried to do anything about that? "

For example, what ? I tryied to upgrade the some drivers, but i have the latest version.

Yes, it looks like the BSOD would be created by an ATI file…
I think an driver update might help to solve this… the notebook seems to support Radeon HD 6450M graphic chip.

Check this AMD page:
http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

here you can search for Notebook graphic drivers.
Choose:
Notebook graphics
Radeon HD series
Radeon HD 6xxxM series
Win 7 64bit

Now you will get the driver package… download this and save on desktop.
Now you have to unzip this package… right click on the catalyst mobility icon and choose unzip. Now you should get an unzipped package with all the dll files, etc…

The driver can be updated now in device manager… you have to do this manually… point to the unzipped folder on desktop and force window to choose these files.

As mentioned by PauPau… it seems that BSOD is related to the graphic card driver.
If ATI driver installation does not solve this, you can try to test the system using common Win 7 driver.
Uninstall the ATI driver in device manager (mark the graphic card and uninstall driver)
Additionally remove the Catalyst from system (control panel -> software)
Reboot the notebook and after new reboot the OS should reinstall the driver automatically…
Then you can test this again…

As another option, you can try to recover the notebook using Toshiba recovery image (HDD recovery or recovery disk)
Then test the notebook with fresh recovered system.

Hello.

I re installed with the toshiba graphics drivers.
From ATI website. Wont work.

A few minutes ago i got again another blue screen.

Did you try the last option mentioned above? I mean settings the notebook back to factory settings using Recovery disk (or HDD recovery)…
Would be interesting to know if this would eliminate the appearance of BSOD
