Hi

First of all you should connect both devices (TV and notebook) using an proper cable which is supported by TV and notebook.
Then you have to power up the TV and notebook and have to enable the HDMI channel on TV.
Now use the key combination FN +F5 to switch the video output to TV.

Does this work?

Have you enabled right HDMI port on your TV?
When you use FN+F5 key combination how many options are shown there?

BTW: which Satellite C660 (C660-xxx) do you have?
Do you use original preinstalled OS that you got with your notebook?

I've got HDMI ports and have tried them both.
4 options are shown; computer only, duplicate, etend, projecter only
The model is c660/c660d
It's the original OS

That’s really crazy. I cannot believe that you cannot get it to work.
If possible try to connect your notebook to other TV. Maybe some friend of you has TV with HDMI ports.

I know it should work, but all I'm getting is a blue screen on the TV!
as per my1st post; should the Montior/TV settings say 'Montior/TV settings are not supported'? If not, what's the solution
Thanks

This sounds really strange to me...
What do you think about testing the video out put using the factory settings?

I mean using the Recovery (HDD recovery or Recovery disk)...
Usually video output should work properly using factory configuration…

PS: last option: uninstall the display driver, reboot the notebook and install the graphic card driver again… then try Fn + F5 to switch to the TV
