Satellite M205/Vista - DVD player does not play at all

I load CD player with a disc and nothing happens,already restarted my laptop but still no window opens to ask me how I want to play it.I checked to make sure it's at autoplay and also chose the option for "open folder to view files" but still nothing opens?

Maybe you should be more specific with problem description.

Which player do you use and which DVD? Do you use original movie DVD or some self-made copy?
