My laptop is making a rattling sound

Hi there,

My laptop has started making a rattling sound when I use it... from the fan area I think. I vaccumed the fan in case that was the problem - there was quite a bit of dust in it - but it continues to rattle occasionally after I turn it on.

Should I stop using my laptop - is it safe to continue using? Or can I continue using it and ignore the sound?

Are you sure it is from fan area?
In my opinion you can continue to use your notebook but I recommend you to contact nearest Toshiba service and ask for help.

BTW: which notebook model do you have?
