Then you have to use Toshiba's Blu-Ray Player app along with one of the demo videos in C:\TOSHIBA.
Be sure to check the settings in the player. Mine were set to 2D->3D conversion which resulted in double image. Set it to 3D content, open a movie and press the 3D button.

No, I really mean the TOSHIBA Blu-ray Disc Player. It should be installed by default. Maybe you could try to download this application from Toshiba USA.

... but we are talking about the "Glasses Free Display", aren't we? Or do you mean displaying 3D content on a TV?

Yup, the glasses free laptop.

i did find it to download but still no 3d
i came across this in a comment

"Just need to set it up fist with x-tune (nobody tells you that) and there are different 3D content (such as side-by-side, etc) so the player doesn't support all AND you need to change settings depending on the DVD/Blu-Ray type. Also it doesn't support all video formats (if you want to watch downloaded content) but with a simple software you can easily convert them."

any idea what his talking about?

Yes, you can convert video files to a format which is playable by Toshiba's player but I would recommend that you first get your hardware ready to display the "demo content".

When you open the Toshiba Blu-Ray player application, does it open another window which shows your face through the webcam?

Did you already download and install the X-Tune application? It can also be found on Toshiba's drivers page. If you have done this already, start it in order to calibrate the display.

I'm still a little bit curious that this stuff wasn't installed in factory...

i installed the player. but its doesn't start displaying my face, as well there is an error message saying that d3dx9_43.dll was not found. So i re-installed the player but same message came up.

I looked for the X-tuner and couldn't find it. don't suppose you have a link for it?

Thank you for all the help :)

Just a quick question: Which Windows version are you using? It seems, that you don't have DirectX installed (which should be included in every decent Windows version...)

Strange. Qosmio F750 without preinstalled drivers and Windows 7 without DirectX ;-)
Anyway, here are the links I've found (but never used):

3D IC driver: http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/file/download/resource/file/20020/tc00391700c.exe
X-Tune: http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/file/download/resource/file/20021/tc00391800c.exe
Blu-Ray Player: http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/file/download/resource/file/20053/tc00381700q.exe

I haven't found a link for DirectX at the moment but try to google around. I'm sure, you'll find it.

Good luck...

Hi

Usually DirectX is part of the system and you can start this using the command: dxdiag
Type dxdiag in the searchbox in order to start this tool.

Ok so i managed to install all the programs linked above, and the Direct-X problem solved its self... er at least it stopped showing me the error message.

but now my problem is how to set up the system.
