NB500-10F - Drivers for Windows XP

Dear friends

I have Toshiba NB500-10F (PLL50E) and I install Windows XP on it but I can't find the drivers for the LAN,WLAN and VGA that work with XP.

Can any one help me?

Hi mostafaalsaddy,

You will not find any drivers for Windows XP on NB500 because this old Windows version is not supported. Everything what you can download on Toshiba website are drivers for Windows 7 but Windows XP is not supported.

If you can’t believe it check the page yourself:
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Download Drivers

Maybe you can find on external pages some 3rd party drivers but there is no official support for XP. You should install new and better Windows 7 on this great netbook ;)

We have year 2011 and all new devices are designed to run with Win7. All new notebooks have newest hardware inside designed for new standards. Why do you want to use old operating system on newest generation notebook?

This model is not even supported for old WXP and that is the reason why you cannot find drivers.
I’m really wondering you have installed WXP before checking WXP support.

I strongly recommend you to go back to Win7.
