Equium P200-1IR - Update display driver

I have been using my Equium P200-1IR for some time now to play World of Warcraft. After a patch update the game now freezes, screen goes black when I'm in an area of the game where there's a lot going on. WoW have advised me they now do not support my driver which is an IntelGM965 and have advised I update this.

I have tried running a search from the toshiba website from my laptop but it won't work. I've done a search for the driver but every time I try and install anything on the laptop from the toshiba website it says my laptop doesn't have the capability to install.

I have absolutely no idea if I can update my graphics driver and if so, how do I get it onto my laptop? Is there an update so I can continue to play WoW, or as I feared am I looking at having to buy a newer laptop?

Hello

If you play Wolrd of Warcraft I think you were advised updating the display driver. The display driver can be downloaded on official Toshiba website.

Your notebook has integrated Intel graphic card so it was correct downloading the Intel display driver. If you can’t install it due to compatibility issues try installing it manually via device manager. Right click on graphic card in device manager and select update driver. Then use the advanced installation option where you can choose the driver directory yourself. Navigate to the folder where you have saved the downloaded driver.

After restarting the new display driver will be used

Thanks for the advice. I just tried that but the laptop is saying the driver is up to date. According to the details:

Driver date: 25.03.2008
Driver version: 7.14.10.1461

I've done an online scan to search for up to date driver but it doesn't seem to find one. Does anyone know if this is the latest driver?

I saved the drivers from toshiba/ intel site onto external drive. Just tried to install them and it says "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"!
