Satellite Pro L300 - Maximum screen resolution?

I've just bought an external monitor for my L300. The monitor's resolution is 1920 x 1080, but the maximum available on my L300 is 1280 x 800. The Service Station utility tells me that all my drivers are up to date - is there any way I can increase the graphics resolution? Any suggestions very much appreciated!

Hi PeterSouthon,

You must unlock other screen resolutions. You can do this by uncheck the option “Hide modes that this monitor cannot display” as you can see on THIS picture.

After unchecking this box you should be able to use the native screen resolution of your external monitor.

Hi buddy,

Is the screen resolution of 1280x800 available when you use both monitors or switch to external monitor only (FN+F5)?

I have noticed that if you switch to external monitor only the native screen resolution of 1920x1080 will be set automatically…
