Portege R830 - Where is the SIM card slot?

Can someone please tell me where the SIM card slot is as its not referred to in the manual?

Hey,

Usually the SIM card slot is under the battery. So if you remove the battery you should see a small slot where you can insert the SIM card.

Hello

I agree with the user above. You have to remove the battery pack to install the SIM card. Insert the SIM card and press it until it is securely connected.

Hi,

Today I found a SIM slot, but probably not in the middle of the electronics.
The SIM card falls into the center. Need to install / solder some special chip?

No, usually you don’t need any special chips.
To be honest I don’t know exactly what you mean saying chip but usually the sim card slot is read to use.

Could you make some photos of this?
What Portege R830 do you have exactly?

I have a Portege R830-10U where I am supposed to be able to insert a SIM card. I have removed the battery but do not see any place where to put my SIM card. Would anyone have a diagram showing what we are supposed to see?

I have found a Youtube video that shows exactly what to do. I never though that this small "slit" that I didn't even notice was the place where you needed to introduce the card. This information is sorely lacking in the documentation provided by Toshiba.
