Can't download yahoo messenger

Hi

I have a A500-1f4, i am always using Avira premium security and didn't have problem downloading yahoo or any other problem before, now when I try to download yahoo messenger Avira block the website saying it has a malware, I tried to disable the firewall but it didn't continue to download saying there is a network problem
I made a full scan with Avira and windows defender but they both showed that the computer is clean
I made a system recovery from discs but the same problem is still happening , also the same when i try to download realplayer, other downloads are working so far

Generally speaking this problem has nothing to do with Toshiba and if your Avira make some problems contact Avira support and ask for help.
I use Avira too (free version) and can download Yahoo messenger from http://messenger.yahoo.com/download/

Do you use the same link for download?

yes i use the same link and i also tried the 11 beta one also the same problem happens with it

I’m 100% sure this official page is secured and what you can try is to disable avira for the moment and download yahoo messenger.

I visited the link posted by Keany and I could download this.
A popup window appears and I think you use a popup blocker or something like that and I think this is the reasons for that.

problem is solved i disabled avira webgard and it worked, before i only disabled firewall but i still wonder why i have to disable the webgard to be able to download it, maybe i have some kind of a virus that isn't detected with Avira and it's the one causing this problem?
