Satellite A110-162 - Will not read audio CDs

My DVD-ROM will not read any audio CDs with data or not. If I put and audio CD in with games audio or data on it will always open as if it is blank y is this

Have you tried removing the upper and lower filters?

It is not easy to understand you. “Audio CD with data” – how to understand this?

Can optical disc drive read:
-original audio CDs
-data like word documents, pictures?

What is with DVDs? Have you noticed the same problem with original DVD movies, games or saved personal data on DVD media?
