Satellite R630-130 Bios Update 1.90 trouble

Hello.
I find it difficult to update BIOS 1.90 because i got message that I had not given permission to execute the update. Of course, I run application by Administrator and try many times to reboot Windows(64bit Home prem). Last time when I installed 1.80 BIOS update there was not this trouble. Attach screen with application message.

In my opinion there is some problem with Win7 version you use. Maybe it is not enough to run it as administrator but you must be logged in as administrator.

Please check it out.

By the way: why do you need new BIOS version? Is there some problem with your notebook?

Hey,

You should be logged in as Administrator to start BIOS update. I think running the application as Administrator is not enough.

Have you installed Value Added Package? This tool is necessary for BIOS update!!!

I log in Windows as Administrator. Screen shows it but in Russian. I Tried to reinstall Value added Package but it didn't help. At first I installed Toshiba software only what I need, may be there is anything else necessary to Update BIOS.

I don't have any trouble with notebook excepting for this one and I can't understand why it's so.

So why updating something? Be happy with your notebook!!!

BIOS update is always a little bit risky and if you don’t have any troubles forget this update. This should only be done if you have serious problems.
