Portege R700 (PT311E) - Unknown device in device manager on XP

I've managed to identify all other devices except this one. It appears in Device Manager as:

Location: on Intel(R) QM57 Express Chipset LPC Interface Controller - 3B07
Device Instance ID: ACPI\IFX0102\4&375529C7&0

Any suggestions?

Hey,

In my opinion this device has something to do with chipset and therefore you have to install the Intel chipset driver. You can download all drivers on official Toshiba website:
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

Check also the exact vendor and device ID in device manager to identify this device. The PCI database website can help you to do this:
http://pcidatabase.com/

Hi

User Syntax may be right. But if You want to find out what the device is You should check the VEN/DEV info found under HardwareID in Device manager.
Looks like this VEN_8086&DEV_1234

This information is not always available, but mostly.
It tells us exactly what Vendor and what device we are looking at.
