some interesting facts from http://developer.nvidia.com/tegra/devkit-250tango

Os image last update
Android 2.2 (Froyo) for Tegra 250 & Tango ONLY 02/28/11

I guess we'll see Android 3.0 for AC100 right after Nvidia port it to it's developers board.

Hello there!

Did anybody of you experience this?

After updating the OS to kernel 2.2(via Service Station) *the system doesn't see the built in 3G modem*!

My netbook is an AC100-10V.

There is no sign of the modem in the system, every menu entry that had something to do with the modem disappeared!

Same here. I lost in the update C-something application which let me update software from Toshiba site. How can I reinstall it (and to earlier version which probably works better) when I have no access to Toshiba software site?

Use google translate or any other service. But, as i said later it's for advanced users. You'll find a link to archive with images of all volumes, and even with windows scripts that will flash these volumes through the nvflash. So if you'll unpack archive you should know what to do or read somewhere else how to use nvflash and where to get it. I don't have windows, so i will not write guide how to use this archive. I just flashed /system and /data volumes from that archive and it works for me :)

Hey!

I've tried to load version 2.2.5.0029.WW_ EU to my 100AC-10D from Toshiba Service Station. I get message, that software update is ready to install. When I try to do that, comes information "The software update package could not be verified. It may be corrupted and will be deleted. " What to do?

Case solved! I first opened file manager and deleted damaged update package. Then I retrieved package again, and update went OK. Problems under first loading were probably caused by temporary, but usual instabilty in my internet connection.

Hi boys, sorry for my bad english..

I'm an italian user and i have purchased an AC-100 which has a big problem.

My smartbook has the Android 2.1 version, but i can't update it to version 2.2 Froyo.
I open the Toshiba Service Station, i have accepted the conditions, but it says that "no updates are available".

The Internet connection is correctly available by wi-fi.

I have called the Toshiba italian center several times, but with no results. I have discuss many times with Toshiba operators, but the problem remains and nobody is able to solve it.

I have very worried...the smartbook is unusable as it is. I have no market application, i have no flash plug in, etc.

i hope you can help me !

Thanks to all !

I'd go and ask service center to proceed with DMI update, I think that service station functionality is based on this information and will not work if the DMI data is wrong.

I got 2.2 update done, as described earlier in this chain. I have also loaded Flash Driver from Toshiba Service Station. For some reason, Flash doesn't work.

From Applications I can see, that Flash version is 10.1.120.10, which is in other forums said to be the right one for AC100. Would it help, if I remove recent Flash Player and load it again?

Unfortunately I can't find this 10.1.120.10 version uploadable from Adobe site. However, unofficial releases can be found from other internet domains.

3G modul is not working also for me on Toshiba AC100-10W 16GB SSD (i used all possible updates from TOSHIBA Service Satation)

Why ?????

Please help me.... I am really unhappy - its first day when DPD delivered it to me which i spent on google to find why...

Wi-Fi is making bugs but its still good in compare with not working 3G - and this was reason to mz AC100-10W with small SSD

Hello everyone,

I have a big problem when i update my ac100 to 2.2... I downloaded the update, then launched the installation. My ac100 switch off (that's normal), and when it started again, i had this error: "/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off"

I can force the switch off, and when i start it again, the update is not installed of course...
Does anyone knows what to do to get the update working?

Thank you very much for your answers!
