Cannot install the Win XP from USB stick to Toshiba NB250

Hi,

I 'd like to install windows XP by USB stick, but when i finshed install the system files and restart machine to boot windows to resume installing, This message appears :

What is the solution?

Hi

It seems that the USB flash stick has been configured wrong.
Did you create the USB flash stick using the Toshiba Recovery Media Creator?
Did you receive a notification that Toshiba Recovery Media Creator has created the recover flash stick successfully?

Thanks PauPau ,
I also think that the problem for Flash stick is installed under Windows , Especially since the Microsoft agreement does not appear (F8 to Agree)
I used flash Kingston 8G , 4G and micro stick Kingston 1G for istalling windows .
Yeas, I created the USB flash stick by using the Toshiba Recovery Media Creator and the recover flash stick successfully becouse I used The recovery successfully more than 3 times to return to Win 7 Starter OS by Using flash Kingston 16G.

because I used The recovery successfully more than 3 times to return to Win 7 Starter OS by Using flash Kingston 16G.

This means that you have created this using 16GB stick.
So it’s definitely a USB stick issue… I think you will have to switch to another stick…

hi . i have tried a lot of things to instal win xp from a usb stick ,on my toshiba nb250-107 with no results ... to find out that nb250 series has problems in booting win xp from an usb stick .... after that i tried from an usb cd/dvd-rom and it works like a wonder... so if you really want xp on your toshiba nb250 try it

bt keep in mind that you may have problems with wifi signal cause it is very low on xp... good luck ..
