My FN key function isnt working.

When I press the FN button the light comes up to say that its being pressed but the drop down screen doesnt come up like it used to and you cant use the function buttons i.e Fn+F# button.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Hi mikehands,

The FN keys will be controlled by Flash Cards Support Utility and Value Added Package. I would recommend reinstalling both tools, this should fix your problem. For me it worked.

Both tools you can download on official Toshiba website.

Check this!!!

Hi, I have the same model and problem as the thread starter.
I found the Value Added Package patch from toshiba website. However, I couldn't find flash card support utility patch from their website.

I looked for the patch from these webs:
http://pc.toshiba-asia.com/support/drivers
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2464743&rpn=PSLQ0U&modelFilter=L510-ST3405&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663

Thank you.
