Satellite L305-S5919 - Slow modem speed

Howdy folks. Right now I have this modem driver- Toshiba Software Modem for Windows Vista (Agere). But I'm not all that thrilled with its performance so I was thinking about trying a different one.

The one I'm looking at is- Motorola Modem Driver for Windows Vista (32/64bit). The information about it says it's compatible with my model, but I wasn't sure if it would work since the one I have is Agere (Agere is what it came with new).

I have a Satellite L305-S5919, Vista 32 bit and Toshiba Software Modem with Agere Driver 2.1.77.

Hey,

I think the problem is not the driver, it’s the modem technology itself. You know that modem speed is limited to 56.000 kBit/s?

The point is that the most websites are already designed for broadband connections because they have a lot of high resolution graphics and multimedia stuff.

In your case I would choose another Internet connection… ;)
