Portege R600 SIM Card - software which alert about incoming call

Hi to all,

I just plug my sim card in my laptop, everything works

but I have one quesiton...

Is there a way, (when someone call me while my sim card is in laptop) that some software or what ever alert me about incoming call?
Like there are an option to play sound on my laptop when new sms message cames.

Hi

Such software is not known to me and to be honest I doubt that it’s available on the market… but google a little bit... maybe you will be lucky…
I wasn’t able to find any

Ok.. it’s for R500 and not for R600 but maybe you will find some useful details.

Hmm…. you can find it on the Toshiba European driver page in the R500 driver download area.
But I assume you have to use other software which was preinstalled on R600.

The R600 seems to use the Ericsson software…. The Ericson 3G Driver appears on the driver page.

So it looks like the HowTo posted above refers only to R500.

I really appreciate your answers but I am banging my head against the wall. I download the driver for the Ericson F3507G and I did understand that it should have come with some software but it didnÂ´t. It only installed the drivers. I called toshiba and they said to test by doing a dial up connection but it is not working. Where can I find the software for the other laptop? I will try it anyways...

As I said above;
The drivers or software can be found on the Toshiba European driver page.
If you would choose R500 you will find the software/tools for R500.

Choosing the R600 you will find all the software/tools for R600.

Thanks. I downloaded the Mobilink software for the R'500 as it does not show for the R-600. Will see if this works.

Hi everyone,

Just in case anyone has same problem as I had. The Wireless Connection Manager available from the Toshiba driver download page will make the built-in F3507G broadband card.
