I uninstalled my audio output software by accident because a message came up saying that a certain type of file couldn’t run because of it so I uninstalled it but I didn’t know what it was that i was uninstalling and I don’t know how to get it back or down load a new one! Can anyone help?

I have a Equium L300.

This is normally a driver issue, so installing the proper driver should do the trick. Please install sound driver for your notebook model. you can find it on Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads.

By the way: have you some “unknown” devices listed in device manager?

I use toshiba product too, the sound card of toshiba Equium L300 is on-board, it is Realtek ALC268, if you use vista, you need install drivers by yourself, the driver is Realtek high definition audio, it can work with Realtek ALC268 in Equium L300. Good luck.

Hope this site can help you do the recovery:
http://www.diskdata-recovery.com/
There are several recovery software there, all seems good.
If that doesn't help, you can also try this link to find a right audio driver instead to fix the problem:
http://www.best-driver-updater.com/drivers/sound-card-drivers-download.html
Good luck.

Hello. It’s also possible to directly specify the folder or directory for Windows Explorer to show and display when ran, using the same trick to change and set Windows Explorer default folder
