Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help me:

The pre-installed bluetooth software has been working fine on my non-Toshiba laptop, until all of sudden the bluetooth icon stoped showing up on the system tray! When I try to connect to open any of the Bluetooth utilities, the system replies stating that "Bluetooth is not Ready". I tried making a new connection but I get the same response etc.

Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba
Version: 5.10.10(SO)
Bluetooth Specification: Version 2.0, 1.2, 1.1

I have checked that my laptop antenna switch WLAN is on.
But inside "Bluetooth Settings"->Bluetooth -> Options... -> Bluetooth Radio Power button is "Radio is Disabled" I have tried to click it, but it gives me no response (i.e. it is still set at Radio is Disabled).

Any idea of what is wrong anyone?

I have a vaio model vgn-sz650N. I have bought a bluetooth microsoft mouse. At first it was working okay, but then sunndly it has stopped working.

When I try to connect any of the Bluetooth utilities, the system replies stating that "Bluetooth is not Ready". I tried making a new connection but I get the same error message.

Any help?

I have seen that Suz has not continued this thread, so I wonder if she got an ideia of how to fix it.

Deepblue, I have opened the device manager, and under blueetooth I can see - Bluetoothrfcomm and Bluetooth USBController (ALPS/UGPZ6)
eBye

Now you should see a green WLAN LED and a blue Bluetooth LED nearby on the front of your notebook (at least on my notebook. Same brand, but other model).
Did Bluetooth work ever before in your case ?
